The Story:

Alicia was raised in a Polish microcosm within Oklahoma, rendering her accent nearly unplaceable. She MacGyvered her way through school and university, building solutions out of whatever materials were on hand. Now, after international business and design ethnography, she wants to craft business games and immersive communication tools to promote effective mastery of information.

Rachel Shadoan

The Story:

Rachel was born in Oklahoma, where she started out as a harpist, met Alicia, tried her hand a piloting, and became a computer scientist. And this was all before she and Alicia moved to Scotland to round things out by becoming design ethnographers! She wants to make numbers friendly and approachable for participants and qualitative researchers using data mining and data visualization techniques.
